The terms and conditions apply to “THE FAMOUS FACE” website referred to as the "Website".The Website is operated by MONOLIT LLC registered with Sharjah Media City Free Zone, UAE ("we", "us" or"our"). References to "you","your" "yours" and “User” are references to the person(s)accessing the Site. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully as they govern our relationship with you and your use of the Website. By using the Website, Users are agreeing to our Terms, which may be updated from time to time.
2. ACCESSING THE WEBSITE
By accessing the Website, you agree to comply with the Terms and our Privacy Policy (together as “Legal Terms”). If you do not agree to our Legal Terms, do not access, view, orotherwise use any of our services or register with us.
3. OUR SERVICES AND SCOPE
3.1 We are an online platform meant for selling makeup brushes and other cosmetic products. We shall also provide online tutorials/courses related to self-make-up.
3.2 Our makeup brushes are made of natural goat hair, and the handles are crafted from natural sandalwood. Each brush handle is unique due to the natural wood pattern.Natural goat hair may have a specific smell, which usually disappears after a few washes. The initial smell from the makeup brushes shall not be considered as a defect.
3.3 Some of you might experience an allergic reaction as the makeup brushes are made from natural goat hair. We are not liable for any kind of allergic reaction experienced by you as this depends on your skin sensitivity.
3.4 The makeup brushes are not eligible for return if they have been used by you. The makeup brushes can only be returned if there is a manufacturing defect. The cases where it shall fall within a manufacturing defect are a damaged handle, a loose ferrule (metal part), or excessive shedding of hair. Shedding of a few hairs initially is normal due to the fact they are assembled by hand. However, if the brush sheds hair excessively (dozens of hairs), it would be considered as defective,and we shall issue a refund or replacement in such cases.
3.5 At present, we shall be handling worldwide delivery of products ourselves only. We might engage a professional delivery company in the future if need arises.
3.6 The online tutorials/courses related to self-make-up are not professional training programs, and we shall not issue any diplomas or certificates related to that. The courses are intended for personal use only allowing you to improve your skills or learn how to apply makeup on yourself. There shall be different fees for different types of online tutorials/courses ranging from self-study classes,group-study classes and individual classes with personal guidance.
3.7 The fee for the online course is non-refundable. The users will receive access to the lessons for a period of three months, with the option to extend the period for an additional fee. Once the payment is made, no refund shall be made.
3.8 The online lessons imparted by us only serve as educational content and demonstrations presented in a subjective manner. We cannot guarantee that the users will be able to achieve the same outcomes as shown in the online course.
3.9 Our online tutorials/courses shall not be available for purchase at all times, but will be offered for limited sales periods. During the period between sales, we may collect registrations of interest. We shall send notifications via email or WhatsApp to those who have registered with us, informing them of upcoming sales openings, closing dates, and relevant updates about the upcoming program.
3.10 Anything posted on the Website, the Users grant an unlimited, exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide,perpetual, royalty-free license to use, advertise, market and commercialize these in any manner by us.
3.11 Wehave the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to delete or move anyServices that is or may be available through the Website for any reason or forno reason at all. You agree that by using the Website, after any suchmodifications, you will be deemed to have reviewed, agreed to and accepted themodified document.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 By accessing or using our online payment options, you are agreeing to be bound by all of the terms and conditions contained herein. 4.2 Wehave Stripe, PayPal, and Apple Pay as the payment gateway options. We are notresponsible for any fees or commissions charged by banks, payment providers, orthird-party platforms.
4.3 Our tutorials/courses shall be hosted on Webflow (www.webflow.com), and any fees charged by the platform from the user is not covered within the fees paid to us by the user.
4.4 When you follow a link to any other website, even the site of another governmental agency, you are subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of that specific site. We are not responsible for the practices or content of other websites. You should check the terms and conditions and/or the privacy policy of their sites if you have concerns about how they handle your personal identifiable information.
4.5 Ouronline payment service is provided to you to allow you to make electronicpayments through the web and/or access account information. The online paymentservice may send information about our account directly to your email accountor via mail.
4.6 We,in our sole and absolute discretion, may, without notice, restrict or terminate any User's use of the online payment service and any related service, user accounts, usernames or passwords.
5. SHIPPING & RETURN / REFUND POLICY
5.1 Any orders to be delivered within United Arab Emirates (UAE) are processed manually, and the delivery is completed within 1–2 business days. Orders to be delivered outside UAE are not automated. The Customers must contact us directly via WhatsApp to agree on cost, timing, and conditions of delivery.
5.2 We shall accept returns as per the below conditions:
(a) Return request is accepted within 14 calendar days from the delivery of the product.
(b) If the product has a manufacturing defect (e.g., broken handle, loose ferrule,excessive shedding of bristles), we cover shipping costs and either the refund is done, or the item is replaced.
(c) If the product is unused and in original packaging, the return is accepted even if it does not have a manufacturing defect as explained above. In such a situation, shipping costs are to be covered by the customer. The refund is issued after receipt and inspection of the returned product.
(d) Opened or used brushes, sponges, eyelashes, and other hygiene-sensitive accessories are not eligible for return. 5.3 We shall not be responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees in the recipient’s country.
6. LIMITATIONS TO OUR SERVICES
We or our agents do not make any representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information provided. Users acknowledge that any information received is for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal, financial, or investment advice. Users agree to conduct their own due diligence and seek independent professional advice before making any decisions or entering into any agreements. Users release us and our agents from any liability arising from their reliance on the provided information.
